New TG60 Shoring System from Layher exceeds expectations on major project in Liverpool

The largest use in the UK to date of Layher’s recently introduced TG60 Shoring System is generating spectacular results in Liverpool where it is central to a major construction project that is seeing the largest concrete pour currently in Europe – some 11,900 m3. The design is providing a safe, fast and versatile support system as part of the construction of a new waste water treatment plant being undertaken by Galliford, Costains and Atkins (GCA) Joint Venture for United Utilities. Upon completion, the project will provide a total of 16 settling tanks and a duel level weir flow system, making it one of the most significant builds of its type in the country.
